Snapcast

Snapcast is an open-source, multiroom audio system. With Snapcast enabled, your Sonik unit acts as a Snapcast client and synchronises playback with other Snapcast-connected devices in your home.

Enable

  1. Open the Sonik web interface at http://sonik.local
  2. Go to the Services tab
  3. Enable Snapcast and configure the audio output
  4. Click Apply and run the configure step

Important

Due to technical limitations, Snapcast does not support hardware volume mixers.
