Display
Important
The display functionality only works while using Roon.If an official Raspberry Pi Touchscreen (generation 1 or 2) is attached via DSI to your Raspberry Pi, Sonik will show a Display tab where you can configure the touchscreen behaviour.
Important
On the Raspberry Pi 5 you must use the DSI connector labelled DISP0.Settings
Orientation — if the display is upside down, change this to “Flipped”.
Roon Default Zone — the name of the Roon zone the display should be associated with. This must be entered exactly as it appears in Roon settings.
Tip
You can change the active Roon zone dynamically on the touchscreen by pressing the zone label and selecting from the dropdown.Screen Saver Timeout — the display turns off after the specified idle period.
Show Clock — when enabled, a clock is shown after the screensaver timeout kicks in.

Press the cover art area on the screen to toggle between player, clock, and off states.Tip
Press the bottom-right corner of the screen to adjust brightness.Tip
The display can show content from any Roon zone, not just the zone playing through the Raspberry Pi the display is attached to.Important
To show content from Roon, you must activate the Sonik Roon Extension in Roon settings.
