Remote

Note

Remote control is only supported when using Roon.

The Remote tab is visible only when Roon is enabled as an audio protocol.

Supported remotes

Sonik supports remote control via CEC (HDMI) and USB HID remotes.

CEC allows an HDMI-connected television or AV receiver to control playback using its remote — no additional hardware required.

USB HID supports standard USB remote controls and keyboards attached to the Raspberry Pi.

Enable the remote type you want to use. You can combine CEC and USB HID if both are connected.
